thank you site

thank you site

i first encountered this site when i was at a very low ebb , depression and panic attacks ,hit me right out of the blue , so bad that i could not open my front door .in the early hours of a morning a found this site . it took about two mouths before i could open my door again .

but in the mean time i visited this site regularly, much to my surprise and delight the chatters where full of encouragement , and even met some will the same problems, which help telling me i was not alone with my condition . so as the years have passed, i find my self further down the rod to recovery , OK not complete but, im happy .

so a big thank you to the “chatters” , and i had my 15 minutes of fame ,when radio 4 came to interview me , i can look back at the recordings now three of them , with the satisfaction that that was then this is now . cheers. i still enjoy the company ,with old and new members , long may it continue

  1. Harris, thank you for being wise enough to share your mental health with others, and shine some light on a mental health disease and hopefully make it easier for others to accept a mental health issue and to get help. I am happy that you are doing better and you are always a pleasant chatterer. Thank you for trusting Sc and us with your real self.

  2. Applause to you, Harris. You took steps to help yourself. Difficult steps but you took them. Hopefully, your success will encourage others to take steps to help themselves so they can get to “happy,” too. I hope you continue to blog about your continued successes. Loxxxx

    1. Hi Harris, Been catching you in the Lobby chatroom….quite frequently…..you’re doing fine in there I think. I often have problems thinking of things to say. I feel like I’m interrupting conversations but the people are so nice and humorous I guess it doesn’t matter. I suffer with mental problems on and off….mostly on I guess…but through the years and all the therapy I’ve had, I’m still here at almost age 71. We’re not alone. So glad I found the Senior Chatters, aren’t you?
