Computer Confusion, No Shoutbox For Me.
I love to access the world, people and information on my computer. I had trouble with chat room access and discovered that a new grammar app was causing some of the problem. Since about Wednesday. October 22, 2014, I have been unable to access the Shoutbox. I started using the Shoutbox because my chatroom kept freezing up.
I don’t know enough about computers to know how one part of a site messes up. I am using a google chrome and love it. It is lightening quick and keeps out a lot of unwanted stuff, so I don’t want to change.
Oh, I will try another computer and see if that works for me. Now you need two computers for times like this. Off I go to find shoutbox on the other computer. I am just getting used to the fact, that I need a backup computer. I don’t want to feel like my friends are just shouting to me and wondering if I just wandered off without notice or something worse.
I can report that it is the one computer, chrome notebook,and I may just have overburdened it or worked it till it is “knackered”. I will work on unloading some stuff and do a “powerwash” if that fails. Don’t these computers make us crazy, but having two computers may save your sanity.

Rose all I can suggest is that you cross check your settings. I use Google Chrome to and have no trouble usually. It may be something simple like disallowed cookies or some kind of restriction. Yimae and patience may solve the problem…something I personally dont have a lot of….LOL
Yimae = Time…haahaa…..Im sure someone keeps moving my keys around on me…LOL

Rose i had the same problem as you a few moons ago 🙁 i also could not view videos in You Tube i use Google Chrome.
All i done was went into my browser settings then click clear browsing history a box will then open with options make sure clear cached images and files is ticked then click clear browsing data i have never had a problem since it is also a good idea to have a little program called CCleaner it’s free google it use it once a week job done i hope this helps you 🙂
